Creative Army Jive+ SLX - FCS II - 2 + 1 Fin

The Jive+ is derived from the original performance-based Jive model. It’s still a sleek-lined trimming machine, and by all accounts should be considered a responsive longboard. With the updated additions we’ve taken many of the original Jive features and added a tad more volume for broader usability.

OUTLINE: The sleek outline has a slightly pulled in tail for better drive and acceleration from the taken off, and tighter arching turns on the face. The slightly straighter outline forward of center increases the width up front to create that speed and long nose riding capabilities.

ROCKER: With an emphasis on being an “All Rounder”, the Jive+ has a medium rocker with a flat panel through the mid-section. This makes the board paddle with ease and flow through those dead sections with minimal effort. A slight lift in the nose makes late take-offs easier and also helps with extended nose riding. The slight increase in tail curve gives opportunity for tighter arcs when jamming harder off your back foot.

CONTOURS: Subtle yet effective, the slight concave in the nose creates lift while hanging those toes over. Its flatter midsection creates speed and trim stability, and the subtle rolled vee through the back half makes for silky smooth rail-to-rail transitions.

PERFORMANCE: An ‘All-Rounder’ that’s very user friendly and accommodating to a range of demographics. The Jive+ paddles amazing, trims with a bunch of speed, and will turn whenever and wherever you want it to go. With its improvements in the front half, we’ve made it really enjoyable to ride up front, yet still super responsive when banking a nice turn. From flat to double overhead, this is one of the most fun longboards your ever ride. Enjoy!

Construction - SLX

SLX construction produces a controlled flex pattern by combining the versatility of epoxy materials with the added advantage of reduced weight. All SLX boards have an EPS core with a high-grade timber stringer, which is laminated by hand using epoxy resign, biaxial fiberglass and a specialized construction process. Featuring a high strength-to-weight ratio, and designs CNC milled directly from the shaper’s files. SLX boards feel light, responsive and are very sensitive under your feet. These boards are extremely versatile, easy to ride, and can be used in wide variety of conditions.
